Hi:

I am using an ImageEnMView to do a scan with an Epson Perfection 4180 scanner using the WIA interface (a flat bed scanner). The scan comes in just fine, but it continues to scan the same thing over and over. To stop it I either have to turn the scanner off or kill my program with Task Manager. This happens whether I scan with the scanner dialog or not.

  if chkShowScannerDialog.Checked then begin    {acquire with dialog}
    if ImageEnMView.mio.WIAParams.ShowAcquireDialog(True) then begin
      bScanIsOkay := ImageEnMView.mio.Acquire(ieaWIA);
    end;
  end else begin                                  {acquire NO dialog}
    bScanIsOkay := ImageEnMView.mio.Acquire(ieaWIA);
  end;

When using the same scanner in TWAIN mode, it works fine.

Is there a WIA setting that I am missing here?

Thanks,

Dale

Hi,
I'm sorry, in my tests only one page is acquired (using a physical device and using a virtual WIA device).
Tests done with version 4.0.1.
