Hi,
I'd like to ask whether it is possible to train new font sets to ievision OCR engine. Besides, could you advise whether the source code of IEVision is available for either download or purchase.

Actually, I have to develop OCR for some particular special characters, and thus I prefer to do this job above a pre-developed OCR engine rather development from scratch.

Actually I have pattern recognition and machine learning technical background as well as related experiences, so potentially I can deal with the source code in order to apply required customizations.

I appreciate your comments.

Bests,

Hi

If you have purchased IEVision you can email us for the source (or purchase access to the VCS repository).

hi,
thank you.
could you advise how I can access to the source code!?
on the other hand, is it possible to introduce new trained fonts and symbols from tesseract into IEvision?

Hi

The source code is available with IEVision, but you should note that the OCR is based on the open source library, Tesseract:
