Hi,
I'm showing a preview of a webcam using DirectShow,
inside a TImageEnView control.

I need to show only a portion of the image (a rectangle)
What's the best efficient way to do this?
Doing this in DShowNewFrame event is expensive in resource usage (as is done for every frame)

Any suggestion?

Thanks
Claudio Basso

What component do you suggest?
I'm using a Logitech WebCam PRO C920
The video preview must show an image that can be cropped, rotated and zoomed.
Now I am applying these settings on the DShowNewFrame event.
Can another component apply these settings directly on the source?

Hi Claudio

If you need realtime video display, I think it would be too inefficient to do this with ImageEn/DirectShow
