Is it possible with ImageEn to read a "block" from or write one into a TIFF file that already exists on disk without loading all the file into RAM?

Hi

In general, no.

Though if the TIFF image has been saved using tiles, you can read a particular tile by setting IO.Params.Get_Tile:
