Posted - Apr 07 2017 : 04:07:29 Hi Nigel, i don't know if it is the same reason but when i do a scan with imageen the color is black in background when the paper is a little bit rotatet or the papersize of the paper i scan is smaller then the size i say the scanner i want to scan. For example Paper is A5 and i give the scanner the command to scan A4. When i do the same for example with the windows Scan and fax or with the Microsoft documentscanning tool the Background is white.
So the question is why can other Software make the Background white and imageen can't do that? Is the Changing of the color done after the scan or is it really a function of twain or wia? Best regards Ralf |

Those are handled by the scanner driver. As far as I am aware the properties are not exposed via the interface.
