Posted - Nov 07 2018 : 05:49:18 Hi, I need to pixelate or blur out faces etc... of a selected area but leave the underlying background image untouched. I was hoping to use a closed layer e.g. circle/polyline then one of the TIERenderOperation options would be pixelate. Is there another way of doing this perhaps selecting the area then copying it to an image layer? Perhaps this would be a good future feature?

Yes, you can use one of the paint events to do this. Try the custom layer painting demo:
