We decided to move on with Android Studio, unfortunately we can't wait until we release an Android version, When you make your new version available let us know.

I'm afraid we have no dates. It certainly won't happen in 2019.

I didn't know I had this platform distinction in Delphi, as I had never needed to do an Android project.
Now I understand that VCL is different from Firemonkey, do you have any dates when your component supports Firemonkey or do you think I should look at native development with Android Studio?

Posted - Aug 17 2019 : 19:06:13 Hi Gustavo
Our current library is built using VCL components. VCL components do not work on Android. To support Android we would need to create a FireMonkey version of our library, which will be a huge amount of work.

I do not understand what this means, I mean you will not support the android platform? I think kickstarter is too complicated you should sell your component license.

FireMonkey support is on the to-do list. We did do a Kickstarter a couple of years back to gauge support, but it didn't cross the line.

Posted - Aug 16 2019 : 08:18:19 I found a solution to this, but this is not how I would like it. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/46880322/how-crop-bitmap-in-selected-area-using-firemonkey
Do you intend to support android?
Because I need an option to cut better than this, I wanted to use a selection like photoshop so that the user could drag and zoom the selection.

We do not have a FireMonkey version of our library at this time, so Android is not supported.
