In the TextLayers demo, turning off 'Solid Fill' makes non-formatted text transparent over the background layer. 'Solid Fill' has no effect on a RichText Layer - it remains opaque. Is there some way to display a RichText Layer transparently or do you plan on adding this feature soon ??

Cheers,

Hi

Rich text formatting in layers just uses a TIERichEdit (an upgraded TRichEdit). I don't know that there is a practical way to output rich edit content with alpha information, so we force opacity.

If we don't force opacity, the layer would look ugly until it was merged with a solid background. That would look like a bug.
