I wonder if the latest version of the ImageEn library supports (i.e. can generate and display) animated PNG images [APNG]? If not is this functionality likely in the near future?

I have been running a weather and climate blog in Wordpress (xmetman.com) for the eight years since I retired.
I have countless number of Delphi applications that I have written to generate the graphs (TeeChart), maps (ImageEnView), grids (ImageEnMView) and tables (TMS) to populate my stories with.
I do generate the odd animated GIF fusing them but because of the size I try to keep them small in size and limit the number of frames. It would be quicker to do this in my own software if you could control the optimisation.
The APNG delivers much better quality animations - but of course that might mean even larger file sizes!

Are you only animating them within your application, or do you need to export APNG too?

They are so much better than the old animated GIFs.
Until now I'll have to make do with the free ScreenToGif application to generate them which is very good.
Here's an example.

Not at this time. In fact, I'm yet to encounter an animated PNG in the wild. If other users are interested in APNG too, please let us know.
