After having created a Shape Layer, I dragged it to a position where it partly protrudes from the image boundaries:

However, when looking at the Layer coordinates in the Layer Properties dialog, the Layer's Top position is shown as 0 (!):

Shouldn't there be a NEGATIVE VALUE in the Top field?

I need these Layer coordinates to be exact, as I want to create a transformation feature from this. Why is this value wrong?

Hi Nigel,

the Top position of layer 0 (background image) is also 0:

So the Shape Layer's Top position - which is ABOVE the background image - should be negative!

Hi

What is the position of Layer 0?
