I don't want to preempt the results of the survey, as we are yet to analyse it indepth, but I do expect a higher priority for 64bit.

You guys should concentrate on things like 64bit and professional color management, and leave the decoding of camera RAW files to Coffin, really. Native support for RAW files is a big waste of time and you will never be able to keep up with the development and constant release of new cameras. I would rather prefer that you release bug fixes and updates for ImageEN more frequently!

Raw support is a core feature of ImageEn and we will definitely continue to support it. The only question is how it is supported (natively or as a plug-in).

The survey asked a bit about RAW formats. I'm about to get a new camera and use the RAW format for it. Hopefully ImageEN will continue to support RAW formats either via plugin or natively. |
