When you draw directly with a brush, you won't add new layers, and you can't be selected. I have a question, how to determine if the image needs to be saved when it is closed?

Hi

You can use a blank image layer if you want brush painting to be draggable.

Otherwise, the painting will set the TImageEnView.Modified:
