procedure TForm1.ImageEnView1LayerNotifyEx(Sender: TObject; layer: Integer; event: TIELayerEvent);
begin
  if event = ielRemoved then
  begin
    // THIS IS NOT TRIGGERED BY: ImageEnView1.LayersRemove(LYR_SELECTED_LAYERS); !!
    CodeSite.Send('ImageEnView1LayerNotifyEx: ');
  end;
end;

Unfortunately, there is no TImageEnView.OnLayerRemoved event!

As per the documentation, OnLayerNotify only occurs for user actions, not programmatic ones. Please add your own code after your call to LayersRemove()
