Hi...

Is there a way to highlight shadows in an image, or to darken highlights? If this is possible with ImageEn, any starting point would be very helpful.

Thanks for any tip you could provide,
Martin

Hi Martin

Try the PhotoEn demo and use the Adjust Colors functions. Do any of those provide the functionality you need (e.g. Equalization) if so, that same functionality is available programmatically.

Also see the Auto Image Enhancement functions of TImageEnProc:

Hello Martin, definetely this is an advanced feature, not present in ImageEn afaik. The auto enhancement functions can help a bit in that sense.
However if you really need a shadow-highlight function, such as a filllight/backlight type of correction, I have coded it already for my image editor (focus photoeditor). I can provide it for a fee, please contact us at www.nwscomps.com if interested.
