In ImageEn when we change the size of a layer interactively using mouse the image (layer) becomes zaggy. This is more apparent when we enlarge the image (layer).

How to solve this problem effeciently?

TIA

Try setting the ZoomFilter to something other than rfNone.

Thanks for your help.

But ZoomFilter will only affect the display.

The saved file is not affected.

When we enlarge an Image on a separate layer it gets jazzy.

I want solution for this!

Rotating and enlarging layer, actually does not rotate/enlarge image.

You must fix layer in order to get real rotation/enlargement take effect
with respective rotate/resample filters.

To fix layer after resize:
ImageEnView->LayersFixSizes(layerIndex);
To fix layer after rotation:
ImageEnView->LayersFixRotations(layerIndex);

Hi

With rotation you can improve the display quality using:

@Nigel,

Thanks for the tip. I know this but I need to find a way to improve the final output when the whole image is flattened and save to a .jpg file. At this time all the layers that are rotated or stretched seem to show jaggy edges and if a layer is over stretched it comes out pixeleted in the .jpg file.

TIA

Hi Yogi

Even after using the Fix* methods? Are the layers zoomed to greater than 100% Can you give me some steps to reproduce what you are seeing? If necessary email me the relevant files.
