Hello,

I’m having an issue with IEvolution in combination with EnableZoomOnSelect. Every time when I zoom in with the mouse an access violation in ‘iecore.dll’ occurs. Here is an example how I activate the zoom mode:

this._Viewer.EnableHandScroll = false;
this._Viewer.InternalCursor =HiComponents.IEvolution.IEViewer.InternalCursorType.ZoomIn;
this._Viewer.EnableZoomOnSelect = true;
this._Viewer.MouseWheelAction = HiComponents.IEvolution.IEViewer.MouseWheelActions.Zoom;

Furthermore this problem only occurs when the application is running as 64-Bit program.

Informations:
OS: Windows 8 Enterprise 64-bit (6.2, Build 9200) (9200.win8_gdr.141031-1551)

32 Bit:
-IEvolution2.dll Version: 4.4.0.0 Build Time 13.08.2014 15:49
- iecore.dll (32-Bit) Version: 4.4.0.0 Build Time: 14.05.2014 10:10

64 Bit:
-IEvolution2.dll Version: 4.4.0.0 Build Time 13.08.2014 15:49
-iecore.dll (64-Bit) Version: 4.4.0.0 Build Time: 14.05.2014 10:10

Best regards,
Joel

Hi

I'm afraid we cannot reproduce this on Windows 7 64bit. Also, your build dates should all read 13.05.2014. Is this a custom version?

I don’t have a custom version of IEvolution. The setup is called: IEvolution_4.4.0_90971_Setup.exe and was created at the same date as the “iecore.dll” (14.05.2014 11:45). However the “IEvolution2.dll” seems to get the date of the installation and not the real build date (Installed today and the build time is 18.02.2015 9:50). Furthermore I have attached a test case, which can reproduce the access violation. Just load a file and zoom with the selection/zoom-rectangle. However please keep in mind that the problem only occurs when the program is running as 64-Bit application. Maybe it’s only a problem with Windows 8?
