I am trying to save a polygon selection or a polygon object and reload it using the saved data. Am I saving the polygon points and redrawing it back? If yes, how would I do that?

In the past, I used to save the object as .IEV files but it has proven not too convenient for the users to save.

Thanks in advance.

Are you using tif files? If so, you can just save the objects to the tif file with no need for a dialog.

Unfortunately, I am not using tif files. What I really need is to be able to save polygon selections and be able to restore them. Is there a way to do that by saving and restoring the polygon points to maybe an .ini file?

Thanks Bill.

Hi Andy

If you mean just the selection, then you can use:

ImageEnView1.SaveSelectionToFile();
ImageEnView1.LoadSelectionFromFile();
