While idealing today when I had this spark of idea and to post it here to know if it is possible to use ImageEn and its abilities to achieve this.
I was jumping randomly around the help file of ImageEn once more and the video editing feature caught my attention. I mean it has been sitting there for a very long time and it allows user to edit videos frame by frame!
I was wondering whether we can reverse this process in ImageEn.
Let me try and explain. I mean can we take a folder of images and build a silent (soundless) video using those images.
I think for this what we will have to do is repeatedly insert a photo multiple tiles. So if we want a show a photo for 1 second we will have to insert it 24 times! This part is very simple and do able.
But what if we want to add transition as supported by ImageEnM's slideshow feature in between photos.
Does any have any ideas as to how we can add transition between photos. One idea may be to use Bill's fantastic component Apprehend! I have practically never used this component in any of my projects till date. But I understand that it will capture anything from the screen. So this means we have to show it on screen before Apprehend can capture it. I don't think there is any facility to grab images from off screen buffer. More only Bill can say...
Please share you idea if you care to. I am just looking at possibilities at the moment.
This is what I did with my DVD PixPlay project, which was created with ImageEn (even before we were affiliated with ImageEn). We used a video library to create a slideshow from bitmaps. To create bitmaps for the transitions and pan zooms we use:
