Hello,
when the current layer changes in TImageenview, unlike in other image editing softwares where the selection does not follow the layer, in ImageEn the selection will be modified to fit the current layer.
Maybe it's me, but I do not seem to see an option to change this behaviour. Is it possible?
If not, is it implementable?

Thanks,
Francesco

Hi Francesco

Do you mean that ImageEn prevents you making a selection that is larger than the layer?

Hi Nigel,
yes that is one side of it.
The other side is that if I have done a selection, say on the background layer and then I switch to an upper layer which is smaller than the currently selected area, the selection will be changed to fit the upper layer. This means I will loose my previous selection, when I switch again back to the background.
I hope I made it clear. You can check the difference of behaviour between imageEn and Photoshop for example, by replicating the above steps.

OK, I'll see what we can do there.
