Hallo Nigel,

I have posted different Topics and send a emails with Log-Files without an Answer.

The most used part of imageen at the moment is the scanning tool. There are a couple of problems and we need help.

Here are the links to Topics without an Answer;
https://www.imageen.com/ieforum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=3086
https://www.imageen.com/ieforum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=3080

Not solved:
https://www.imageen.com/ieforum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=3065

Don't forgett the Emails of the last two weeks. Problems with scanning are by scanning with different Canon Formula Scanner (look at the emails). I don't see, that we make something wrong by calling Acquire in Imageen. Our old Scanning Tool worked well with this scanner.

We had the last to weeks, after sending out the update to imageen, by many customers to update the twaindriver or change from wia to twain that the scanner work correct.

The Version 7 we must wait until the problems are solved.

I hope we get any answer to our topics and emails.

Best regards
Ralf

Hi Ralf

We cannot guarantee compatibility with every device, as very few manufacturers follow the standards fully when implementing their drivers. Also, frequently our fix for one scanner has broken compatibility with another, so we are reluctant to make changes we are unsure of.

In your case, your issues have come up while we were rushing to complete v7.0.0, so we have not had time to research them (as scanning issues invariably require protracted investigation and testing). Now that v7 has been released, we will be able to investigate them, however both Fabrizio and I are on holiday (separate ) until late April.

Hi Nigel,
thanks for your feedback.
The Great problem was that there wasn't any feedback and other Topics had feedback. Now i know when you have time to have a look on my problems.
Best Regards
Ralf
