Hi,

How do I register a new user file format in IEvolution 7.5?
I did it when I run the embarcadero version in pascal now i need it in IEvolution .NET

I'm afraid User Format support has not been added to IEvolution yet. Can you tell me in what context you use it?

Hi Nigel,
I use it for FITS format, tried the imagemagick plugin but its to slow and the image is mirrored so have to make my own. Also tried the CFITIO from NASA it works but its also a bit slow and not tread safe. Treadsafe and speed it my main concern. Still waits answer about IEvolution treadsafness.

We'll look at adding user format support in a later update.

Still waiting for confirmation on the thread query. It requires some testing to ensure nothing unexpected is taking place.
