My app used to save the annotations to the database, but I have just discovered that this isn't happening anymore.
Given that there have been the major changes over the last couple of years, is there something different I need to be doing?
I am using a ImageEnDBVect. All the code works for adding layers etc, but it just doesn't save and reload next time.
Thanks In Advance, Shane |

Hi Shane
Are you using layers or ImageEnVect objects?
What is your TImageEnDBVect.DataFieldImageFormat?

I tried different formats, all with no success.
I have now swapped the control for TImageEnView and using TIEDBBitmap as per demos and still the same.
I can load images, modify the image (paint) and save changes. I can't load images, add layers and save changes.
It is just being stored in Microsoft SQL Server blob field. It was working so I'm not concerned about the database. |

Hi Shane
Are you using Layers or Objects?
I have a to-do item to add Layers support to TIEDBBitmap, so if you are using Layers, let me know, I'll bring it forward.

Layers.
That would probably explain it. It was working under the old system (implemented years ago), but then I converted to the new to use the standard actions etc, and didn't think twice about it.
Yes, this is a critical feature. Once I complete this I can release the product to the general market. |
