Hi Chris

I cannot reproduce that. Do you see it in any of our demos?

Hi, I have the same problem trying to replace ImageEnDBView with TIEDBBitmap.
When the blob field is NULL there is a "Null Blob" exception and the image remains the previous one instead of being deleted as ImageEnDBView did.
In the DBDemo_simple just set a blob to NULL to see the error
How solve this?
Thanks!

Hi

It raises an internal EIEException, but does not surface an error to the user. Then loading is aborted (or image cleared in current beta).

This appears to be the same as the old TImageEnDBView functionality.

What would you like to see occur in this situation?

Hi

You can email me for an update that clears the image. Regarding the error, you can add EIEException as an ignored type to prevent it showing in the IDE.
