I have been looking at the EXIF Demo. Very nice. Would it be possible to use the technique shown in that demo to display metadata for other documents such as MS Word, or Excel spreadsheets or email (.EML) files?
In looking deeper into the EXIF Demo, The only files that I've been able to work with are .JPG and .TIF. I've been working on a folder that also contains .PNG and .PDF, and they are not shown in the demo. So, are those files not supported? If not, are their plans to add them to the list?
It only includes formats that support EXIF, which are JPEG and TIFF. Strictly speaking a very small number of PNG files also include embedded EXIF data, but that is not supported by ImageEn at this time.
