I'm hoping it becomes possible to save rich formatted text to the clipboard in HTML format in a future update. Some programs that I want to paste into do not like rich text on the clipboard.
Clipboard functionality is handled by the rich text object itself. If you need specialized handling your should override the shortcuts to insert your own code.
