Hello,
About 10 years ago I tried ImageEn from 24 Oct. 12 (apparently version 4.1.4).
I'm still using Borland C++ Builder 6.0 Professional and now would like to use ImageEn.
You advised me to try ImageEn 11.0.1.
When I try to install ImageEn 11.0.1, I get the messages:
bcb.exe - The entry point to the procedure not found

Error

Can't load package C:\Program Files (x86} \Borland\HiComponents\CImageEn6\BCB6\PKIECTRLc6.bpl.
The specified procedure was not found
Do you want to attempt to load this package the next time a project is loaded?
Then I try to install from ImageEn_10.3.5T_Trial.exe, but it doesn't have bcb6 in the list.
Is there any way around this?
I'm going to switch to RAD Studio, but now I would be more satisfied with the option:
- is it possible to legally use the ImageEn 4.1.4 version by purchasing a license for ImageEn 11.0.1?
- or, may I buy ImageEn 4.1.4? |

Hi
When you purchase ImageEn, it allows you to use every version of ImageEn, including old ones. So 4.1.4 is fine.
Regarding the error above, it sounds like you might have two versions of the ImageEn source files or packages lurking on your system, so if you want to switch 11.0.1, you should search your system (e.g. for hyieutils.*) remove any folders you find and then add the BCB6 packages again.

| Dear Nigel, do I understand correctly that IMAGEEN-COMPILED EDITION FOR DELPHI AND C++ BUILDER WITHOUT SOURCE (XQTS15636096) and IMAGEEN-FULL SOURCE CODE FOR DELPHI AND C++ BUILDER (XQTS2742845) are built on version 11.1.0.1? |

The latest versions of ImageEn (Source or without Source) are both v11.0.1.

after removing the old version, installed ImageEn 11.0.1, got the correct message:
