Hello.
The selected area is moved very quickly with the mouse on large-sized images
Tell me how to reduce the speed of moving the selection area.
Thank you.

Hi Rudolf

Using miSelect on a large image? I'm not seeing any issue there. Can you give me more information?

Hello Nigel

Image H:3000 x W:4000. Select 250 x 250.
I set the mouse cursor to the center of the selected area.
I press the left key and move the selection area.
The area starts moving at normal speed, but then after a few millimeters the movement speed increases and the selected area moves away from the cursor.
Watch the video attached in the file.

Rudolf

Hmmm, something peculiar is going on there, but i cannot reproduce it or see an issue with code. Would it be possible to create a very simple demo that shows the issue and upload the source?

Hi Nigel.
I had to look for the problem myself, but I found it.
If you add an output function to the SelectionChanging event, you will get this effect.
Example in file.
Thanks.

Hi Rudolf

I don't believe the Application.ProcessMessages(); call is necessary there. If you remove that, it works as expected.
