Hi,

I work with scanned multipage TIFFs for black and white documents.

These TIFFs can have any number of pages.

They are fisically printed documents with only text and borders that are scanned for viewing.

The text on the documents can end at any point of the papper.

All the pages will have at least the borders like the image below, but the text can end anywhere.

Is there a way to find out where the text ends in order to place a stamp like the "END OF DOCUMENT" there?

I'm using the lasted version of ImageEn.

Thanks!

Hi

The only reliable method would be using IEVision to get the text blocks in the current image and draw your "End of Document" text below the bottom-most one.

https://www.imageen.com/help/TIEVisionOCR.getRegions.html

Ensure you set the textOnly parameter to True and skip OCRing of the result.

Try the demo:

\Demos\IEVision\OCRwithLayout\OCRwithLayout.dpr

You can download a trial of IEVision from:
