Is there a way to get the white rectangular box in the middle and remove the background?

Hi

That might be difficult because of the inconsistent noise in the image. You could try thresholding the image to isolate the white region. If that works you can calculate its area:

GrayScale is available via ImageEnView1.Proc.ConvertToGray();

Regarding corrosion, do you mean noise removal:
