Is there a way to detect Bit Depth for a PNG file (24/48 bit)?

Hi

Check BitsPerSample:

http://www.imageen.com/help/TIOParams.BitsPerSample.html

It will be 8 for 24bit (or 32bit) and 16 for 48bit.
