Hi.
I'm using Delphi xe5 2 update + TImageEnFolderMView (13.5.0) + 32/64 svg plugins. SVG files load slowly when canvas size is larger than 2800 x 2700. Are there any settings to speed up loading?
FolderMViewActions in examples + attached files.
Thanks.

Hi Rufolf

Which SVG plug-in are you referring to? ImageMagick or Skia (Delphi 12)?

Did this work better in a previous version of ImageEn? If so, which one?

Hi Nigel,
I am using ImageMagick (Delphi xe5).
Previous version 13.2.0 of ImageEn ImageMagick SVG plugin did not work.
In 13.1.0 on files larger than 2800 x 2700 have not tested.

Hi Rudolf

The warehouse sample images you sent me all loaded OK, but I could not get some very large SVG images to load. It appears to be an issue in ImageMagick as the API call MagickReadImage() fails.

Hi Rudolf

I think you'd need to take that up with the ImageMagick developers

But SVG is not a particularly fast format. See how long it takes Windows Explorer to display a folder of SVG files

Hi Rudolf

In your video, you were displaying thumbnails. Have you tried comparing the timing of a single SVG in a web browser vs ImageMagick?
