Hi All,

I'm using ImageEn to acquire images on my system and works better with HP Scanner, but isn't works with Canon Scanner (CANOSCAN LIDE 110).

I checked using the sample called capture\wiascanner with Delphi 2009 and could realize that if I click first on "Acquire with Dialog Button" the image was capture correctly, but if click first on "Acquire Button" the image cannot capture correctly.

My question is: What are the difference between "Acquire with Dialog Button" and "Acquire Button"? I need to know with parameters are filled when I choose "Acquire with Dialog Button".

Thanks,

Anderson

Hi Anderson

Both functions call ImageEnView1.IO.Acquire but the "Acquire with Dialog" button calls first:

ImageEnView1.IO.WIAParams.ShowAcquireDialog(true)

So it would appear that calling ShowAcquireDialog is setting some required properties. Please check the source for more detail.
