Hi Nigel,
Please add an effect to the Proc.DoPreviews dialog that ADDS A TEXT to the image, letting the user configure these parameters:
Position: Top, Center, Left, Right
Text Color
Font Size
Font Style
Text Rotation
Text Opacity
Users often need this.

Hi Peter
We've considered this a number of times, but have thus far decided that it is a lot of UI to deliver a solution that wouldn't work that well (when you consider positioning, sizing, etc)..
I think you would be better to add your own dialog for this, e.g. an "Add Text" dialog that allows a user to add a text layer, position and style it, edit it further if necessary, and when the OK the dialog the layer is immediately merged into the image.
