Posted - Apr 03 2017 : 10:46:38 Hi, have anybody an idear why scanning with WIA needs longer then scanning with Twain at the same Scanner? The size of the scanned image is also bigger. Can it be, that the setting of the AcquireParams.XResoultion and YResolution is ignored by the Scanner? Thanks Ralf |

Posted - Apr 04 2017 : 02:25:18 Hi Nigel, the DPI is the selected after the scan. What i do after Scanning is writting the Image to Stream with. TImageEnMView.GetImageToStream I give in for example ioTiff. The Resulting stream is very big. Is there anyway to say, that the stream is compressed? Best Regards. Ralf |

For WIA those values map to WIA_IPS_XRES and WIA_IPS_YRES. Have you compared the DPI values of the image after the scan?
