JonRobertson, could you post the twain "log", setting for example ImageEnView.IO.TwainParams.LogFile:='c:\twainlog.txt'?

We are changed manufacturer of scanner. because problem with xerox wasn't solved.
JonRobertson Posted - Aug 16 2012 : 12:12:20
What was the solution?

We have a customer using a Zerox Documate 3220. Scanning from other applications works fine. But scanning from our application, which uses ImageEn 4.0.2, does not work. I'm about to test with the precompiled demo.

The scanning progress dialog appears as though it is about to stop, and then disappears. If we show the scanner's UI, it also appears as though the scan is about to start, and then resets back to its initial state.

Hi,
I'm solved the problem myself. You can close the topic.

Why I should do this, if I have problem with Twain Scanner demo from demo page?

3.0.5 is a bit old and no more supported. Please could you try the precompiled TWain example (which is compiled using version 4.1.0)?

fab Posted - Mar 29 2012 : 12:15:29
Which ImageEn version and OS are you using?
Massiff Posted - Mar 29 2012 : 05:01:18
Hi,
yes device is listed in dialog. But nothing happend after pressing 'Acquire'.
Correct link to TWAIN tool is:
http://www.twain.org/scannerserviceproviders/specification-and-tools/129-tools.html
Everything works with TWAIN scanner settings.

Hi,
unfortunately I haven't this device, so I cannot perform tests.
Is the device listed by the ImageEn dialog?
Also, please download and install this tool (this is an official TWAIN working group tool):

http://www.twain.org/docs/Twack_32.msi

It installs a program named Twack_32, execute it. Does it work?
