I don't believe the Application.ProcessMessages(); call is necessary there. If you remove that, it works as expected.

Image H:3000 x W:4000. Select 250 x 250. I set the mouse cursor to the center of the selected area. I press the left key and move the selection area. The area starts moving at normal speed, but then after a few millimeters the movement speed increases and the selected area moves away from the cursor. Watch the video attached in the file.

Using miSelect on a large image? I'm not seeing any issue there. Can you give me more information?
