Hello, I want to select a part of an image, in form of rectangle as background.
If I then delete a part of the whole image, it should be replaced with this tiled backgound.
The same should be done if I mark a part of an image with polygon etc, if I cut it from the rest of the image inside the bounding rectancle should be used the tiled background.
How can this be achieved?
Any help appreciated!
Sincerely

Please provide more details: What to you mean delete? - cut? What should be tiled? - the part you cut or just a tiled bitmap you have already created? Where does the tiled beckground come from?
ImageEn has a nice method to create a tiled bitmap, but we need to know where the bitmap comes from to create the tiled image and how many columns and rows in the tiled image?

Hello,
The first image shows the scanned tiff, which should be worked on. There are metall objects on a background in color.
In image 2 inner objects are marked with a polygon. In the next image this polygon has been deleted from the image, but there stays a white background, which is ugly.
Another approach in figure 4. All objects are surrounded by polygons and can be cut out.
The next three pictures show the cut out images, but with white background.
I would like to replace the white background, with a backgound using a tile from the original background in the first image.
Hopefully this is more understandably now?
Sincerely Peter
